And for guests who do not rent a car in Trang, round‑trip from your hotel in Mueang Trang (Trang City, mueang in Thai means city) is available for an additional 300 baht per person. These fees are not included in this package.

Or stay at Haad Pak Meng if you want sunsets that feel like a soft, cinematic goodbye, the sunset there is unreal.

your snorkeling plan

3x boat snorkeling
1x beach snorkeling

koh waen and koh chuek are the main stops.
if sea conditions change, all snorkeling moves to koh kradan — all three islands have shallow coral and friendly fish.

trang sea has stunning beaches, clear water, and marine life that feels endless.

high season conditions

the sea behaves consistently in high season. waves stay low, especially in the morning, and the water temperature holds at 28-30°c. visibility often reaches 10-20 meters, making coral zones easy to identify before entering the water.

  • calm waves
  • predictable currents
  • 28-30°c water temperature
  • 10-20 meter visibility
  • full access to koh muk, koh kradan, koh chuek, and koh waen

these conditions allow the boat to follow the complete route without seasonal changes or backup plans.

11:00
koh muk

Boat sightseeing and coffee on the boat to Koh Muk.

if narnia had a beach, this would be it

Tham Morakot (emerald cave)

Float through an 80‑meter tunnel into a hidden lagoon surrounded by limestone cliffs.

koh muk is the first major stop in high season. the lagoon is surrounded by limestone walls and coastal plants such as sea almond, pandanus, mangrove apple, and wild palms. the exit path is simple: stay left and follow the cave wall.

the cave swim is safe because the current remains predictable in high season. the outside coral zone is easy to access and offers clear visibility.

Inside, you’ll stand in a natural limestone chimney formed by ancient collapse, surrounded by:

  • Sea almond
  • Pandanus
  • Mangrove apple
  • Wild palms
  • Limestone forest plants

On the way back, if you get separated from the group, stay left and follow the cave wall, it leads you out safely. Or wait for the other goup come.

12:00
koh kradan

koh kradan has the clearest water on the route. the beach entry is easy, the sand is soft, and the coral sits close enough for beginners to explore without swimming far. visibility is highest during high season, and the shallow zones make it suitable for all ages.

the island was ranked the number one best beach on earth in 2023 by world beach guide. high season is when the water clarity shows exactly why.

Boat snorkeling

Koh Kradan is home to vibrant coral reefs teeming with colorful fish and other marine life. Don’t forget to bring your snorkeling gear to explore these underwater wonders.

12:30
Haad Koh Kradan

I always see huge schools of fish here. Many people don’t notice because from above they look like rocks — but if you look closely, they move. I’ve seen them at almost every beach I’ve ever visited. Last time at the island, they drifted so close to shore that people didn’t even realize what they were looking at.

Activities

  • Snorkeling from the boat
  • Swimming
  • Snorkeling from the beach

Coffee, Ovaltine, and homemade cake served onboard after snorkeling.

A little sugar after a lot of sea.

16:00
Koh Waen

Snorkeling from the boat — coral gardens, colorful fish, and clear water. A small island full of life, perfect for underwater photos.

Afternoon tea with Trang cake

Enjoy the famous Thai cake in Trang onboard. A cake made of only a few ingredients; flour, butter, sugar, food color, baking powder and chicken eggs. The process of baking is to mix all the ingredients together and then pour it into the mold cake which has the hole in the middle.

Sometimes the water here is so clear it feels like you’re floating in glass.
