koh racha is one of those islands that stays beautiful no matter what the weather is doing. rainy season, cloudy sky, soft drizzle — the water is still crystal clear like someone polished the ocean. it’s wild how the rain doesn’t affect the visibility here. racha just refuses to be anything less than stunning.
my first scuba dive
racha island is where i did my first ever scuba dive, and honestly, it felt like stepping into a different universe. i learned three things that changed how i see the ocean forever.
1) calm and meditation
once you’re underwater, everything slows down
your breathing becomes the soundtrack
your mind stops racing
it feels like meditation but with fish

you’re floating through a place that doesn’t care about time
it’s peaceful in a way the surface never is
3) coral reefs need protection
seeing coral up close makes you realize how fragile it is
how easily it breaks
how much it needs us to stop messing things up
