No.1 The Most Beautiful Beach in Thailand
It was my first time to visit Koh Racha Noi. Noi in Thai means small. Koh Racha comprised of 2 islands, Koh Racha Noi and Koh Racha Yai. Yai in Thai means big. And Racha in Thai means king. But whatever we just called Koh Racha and I don’t know why we call like that.
Koh Racha Noi
Koh Racha Noi is considered as the island in opened sea and Koh Racha Yai is closed to inner sea. So Koh Racha Noi must be beautiful than Ko Racha Yai.
The first island that we stopped is Koh Racha Noi. It’s the highlight of this program because just a few companies do a tour to the island and it’s expensive.
Along the way to the island we experienced big wave and rain at the ocean. So I can’t even use the big camera and shot photos with small waterproof camera instead.
At we arrived it’s so beautiful more than I expected. It’s more beautiful than Koh Similan in my opinion. Even the stormy rain the water is so clear and has deep blue like Koh Similan but clearer while Koh Similan will be turbid blue that you can’t see anything from the beach just the blue wave.
In this trip. I can’t use the big camera with CPL filter, the small camera didn’t have CPL filter on it so the photos that you see will drop from the light reflection.
The sand is so soft. Powdery white soft sand like Koh Similan with just our group on the island with picnic box on the island it was so nice.
So I will give the No.1 most beautiful island in Thailand to Koh Racha Noi. And No.2 is Koh Similan from now on.
Snorkeling
Snorkeling on Koh Racha Noi is at Banana Bay. That doesn’t means they got the banana tree on the island but because of its shape.
The water is so clear. Unlike snorkeling site in Thailand that will be green. Koh Racha Noi is deep blue like Koh Similan.
Koh Racha Yai
The second island stop was Koh Racha Yai. After went to Koh Racha Noi I don’t want to go to Koh Racha Yai again lol. It’s can be compared. Koh Racha Yai is beautiful crystal clear water though.
Snorkeling
At Koh Racha Yai. At Ao Ter or Ter Bay. Beautiful and the coral is okay. White corals replace with colorful coral reef 🪸. With raining 🌧️ it’s warmer in the ocean 🌊.
